Breckenridge is hosting its 21st annual Oktoberfest on September 11th-13th right on Main Street Breckenridge. This weekend festival offers live music, a 5k trail run, traditional dancing and over 8,000 gallons of beer. The festivities kick off on Friday at 2pm and will run till Sunday at 5pm. Saturday tends to be the most popular day of the festival while Sunday will be more quiet as most families partake on that day. There will be live music performed by Those Austrian Guys at the Riverwalk Center periodically throughout Saturday and Sunday. For those not interested in libations the Breck Fun Park should have minimal lines during festival hours and provide fun for the whole family.
