Planning My Trip

How do I make a reservation?

You can make a shuttle reservation through our online book platform. Booking online will also provide an additional discount automatically applied to your service. Are your rates one-way or round-trip?

Rates listed on our site are for one-way rides; however, you may book a round trip service at checkout. See all of our airport shuttle rates.

What if I want to be picked up at a different time than the times that you offer?

We proudly offer the most time and trip options of any mountain shuttle provider to accommodate your schedule, no matter when your flight lands. If our scheduled pick-ups do not match your needs, we will be happy to offer you our Denver Airport charter services, which can be customized to your specific travel needs. These private transportation options are great for groups, wedding parties, and those with a specialized itinerary.

What are your dates of operation?

We operate year-round! Check our schedules for information on departure and arrival times. For a more customized trip, look into our charter shuttles and hourly service.

Can I bring my pet?

Out of respect for the other guests, we do not allow pets on our Shared Shuttles. If you plan on bringing a pet with you to the mountains, we recommend our Private Charter Shuttle Services, where your pet will be welcome. If you have a service animal, please inform our reservations staff at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled shuttle.

Do you offer any services in the summer?

Yes, we offer full shuttle service year-round! Whether you need an airport shuttle or transportation across town, our friendly drivers will help get your ski trip or mountain getaway started.

How do we determine your pickup time?

Our system initially creates a default pickup time for your shuttle. The night before, our dispatch team finalizes your pickup time based on the most efficient route for all of our guests. Our team considers your location, destination, and flight information, including arrival/departure time in order to book you on one of our shuttles. We carefully plan your recommended shuttle time, so you are easily able to make it from your flight onto one of our shuttles! Please note that the actual pickup time could fluctuate by 45 minutes from the original estimate based on the locations of our other guests. Additionally, if a guest chooses a pickup time that is not recommended by a Peak 1 Express transportation specialist, he/she increases the risk of missing flights or shuttle connections, and Peak 1 Express is not responsible.

When should I book my trip?

We recommend booking as far in advance as possible, once you know your travel dates and flight information. Booking further in advance ensures that you receive optimal shuttle times and prices.

How should I book a shuttle for my group?

Please only book your group on the same shuttle if you are arriving together on the same flight. If flights arrive at different times it may be difficult to coordinate your shuttle ride. Our private transportation is a great way to keep your entire group of up to 14 together on your shuttle ride!

About My Trip

Where do I meet my driver at Denver Airport?

When you arrive at DEN, you will need to take the airport train to the main terminal (Jeppesen Terminal). Go ahead and collect your baggage, then head to the East Side of Jeppesen Terminal and head out of door #513. Head to the Mountain Carriers pick-up location on Island #2.

Can I tip my driver on my credit card?

Yes, we are able to add tips to the credit card on file if you let us know on the day of your service.

How early in the morning will you pick me up for my flight?

Our schedules vary throughout the year, but we always offer a wide variety of time and trip options to accommodate all of our guests’ flight times.  Depending on where you need to be picked up, your driver may arrive 45 minutes before the scheduled departure to accommodate all passengers. If you have an early-morning flight and need to depart before 5am, we recommend our charter shuttle services.

How late in the evening will you pick me up from the airport?

Our last scheduled mountain shuttle pick-up from Denver varies throughout the year, yet we pride ourselves on offering the most trip options of any mountain shuttle service to accommodate your flight time. If you need a later option than what we offer, check out our charter shuttle services, where you can customize your transportation.

Can we make a stop on our way up to the mountains (eg. To pick up ski rentals)?

How many stops will my shuttle make before we get to Summit County?

Your airport mountain shuttle will not stop until you reach Summit County. We are proud to offer direct service, and we do our best to get you into town as efficiently as possible. We don’t shop you, shuffle you or transfer you between DEN and Summit County! Once your shuttle is in town, there may be stops to drop off other guests before you arrive at your specific destination.

What if I need to check in for my lodging property off-site?

We will be happy to accommodate you! This is a common request, and there is no additional charge.

Please communicate clearly with us if you will have any special luggage needs. This ensures that we can provide you the exceptional service we always strive for.

How many other guests will be on my shuttle?

Our Shared Shuttles accommodate up to 14 guests. Depending on the day of the week, the time of the season, and the time of day, the total number of people on board will vary. You may also choose our Charter Denver Airport Shuttles for private transportation. With this option, you and your group will either ride in one of our 14 passenger Mercedes Sprinter vans or 5 passenger SUVs.

Once I arrive in town, how will I get around town?

Travel with the free Summit Stage bus throughout Summit County or check out Breckenridge’s Free Ride bus.  The town of Vail additionally offers free bus service to the mountain and throughout the town of Vail. You can also reserve our hourly service for longer outings within town.

Do you offer any group discounts?

We do! Group discounts for our Colorado mountain shuttles start at just 3 people. Discounts are automatically applied when booking. If you will be traveling with 10 or more people, we recommend our charter shuttle service for exclusive service and value.
