Vail’s 12th annual film festival is coming up!

Synopsis: “Forced onto the streets in her 50s, Marie ‘Mimi’ Haist found ‘home’ between two rows of washers at a Santa Monica laundromat. Taking shelter there for more than 20 years, Mimi’s passion for pink, and living without looking back, has taken her from homelessness to Hollywood’s red carpets.”
The festival starts at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 26th with the opening night film Manhattan Romance at the Cascade followed by the opening night party at The Lodge at Vail. There will be film screenings starting at 11:00 a.m. running all the way to 11:00pm on Friday and Saturday at the Cascade, Marriott, and Vail Mountain School. While the screenings are going on there will be a hospitality lounge open on both days from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Don’t forget about the Friday night concert where Hotel Cafe will be returning to the Marriott. You can enjoy complimentary beer and drinks while listening to these talented musicians.
