Copper Mac & Cheese Festival
This summer, the charming town of Copper will once again play host to restaurants across the county competing for a very coveted title – “Best Mac & Cheese in Summit County”. The title comes with bragging rights and $1,000 in cash prizes. Grab the family and head over to Copper Mountain this July 29th & 30th for the Copper Mac & Cheese Festival.
This is a can’t-miss, food-centric event that will allow you to indulge in crafty, cheesy dishes from chefs across the county battling for the best bowl of mac. This year’s Copper Mac & Cheese Festival will include sampling, eating contests live music and drink, both adult beverages and kiddo-friendly. The eating contests will be free throughout the event for adults and kids alike. Register early, though, as there are only 12 spots for each contest! Winners receive a free activities day pass and a medal. There will be various kid-friendly activities to entertain the little ones and some great live music from The Broadcast, Rose’s Pawn Shop, The Lonely Heartstring Band and Major & The Monbacks as you treat yourself to various macaroni samples.
