There are few places better than a quiet mountain town to celebrate Christmas with family and friends. The Vail area looks like it was taken right out of a storybook. For their dinner sleigh ride when you arrive at the ranch you can enjoy a warm drink and a bowl of their award winning chili in an 1800’s cabin. After this you will take a horse drawn sleigh ride under the star-lit sky and return to a delicious buffet. If you still have room after the buffet head outside and roast a marshmallow over the fire!
Christmas vacations would not be complete without ice skating. Skating is located at the Alderhof Ice Rink right in the heart of Vail. The rink is open daily throughout the winter and ice skates are also available to rent.
