While the ski season for Eagle County will be starting with the opening of Vail on November 21st, the fun does not stop there. mber 5th-December 7th: Watch male downhill athletes compete in the Birds of Prey World Cup. Considered one of the world’s toughest courses, the Downhill, Super G, and Giant Solomon are sure to be a sight to see. Definitely worth driving over from Breckenridge or any other mountain destination to Vail for this epic event.
December 6th: Eagle’s Christmas on Broadway takes downtown Eagle and completely transforms it into a quaint Christmas village. With lights on every corner and music being played it will be hard not to feel all the Christmas cheer this early on.
December 12th-14th: Once again Vail will be hosting Snow Daze for the 8th year in a row! Enjoy fresh tracks on the mountain followed by apres parties and live concerts at night! You won’t want to miss the largest early season party in the mountains.
December 13th: The Eagle Ice Rink will be hosting an afternoon ice skating session. Afterwards the Vail Skate Club will be putting on a special performance. Complete with FREE hot chocolate and some sweet treats, there is no better way to watch the skaters perform.
December 20th-January 3rd: Beaver Creek Resort loves kids and families! To help bring families together they will be hosting its annual WinterFest. Filled with performances, activities for all ages, and contests you won’t want to miss a day of WinterFest.
