Breckenridge, Colorado has a free bus system that can take you around town, to the ski lifts, or even surrounding mountain towns. There are also other complimentary shuttles that can take visitors to restaurants and delivery services for ski rentals. A vehicle is not necessary when visiting Breckenridge, Colorado. 

The most commonly utilized and convenient airport is Denver Airport, about 2 hours east of Breckenridge, Colorado on I-70. The Eagle County Regional Airport is about 1 hour and 20 minutes from Breckenridge, yet there tends to be fewer flight options for Eagle Airport.

Denver is about 1 hour and 30 minutes from Breckenridge, Colorado; however, the Denver Airport is another 30 minutes east of Denver and makes the drive the DIA to Breckenridge about 2 hours. The trip can also be affected by weather, traffic, avalanches, and rock slides, leading to potentially increased drive times. Uber and Lyft does service the Eagle County Airport, but these services may be limited depending on driver availability.

There is not an airport in Breckenridge, and therefore you cannot fly into Breckenridge. The Eagle County Regional Airport is the closest airport; however, the Denver Airport is the most utilized airport due to its extensive flight offerings. The Denver Airport (DEN) is 2 hours from Breckenridge. The next closest airport is the Colorado Springs Airport which is about 2 hours and 30 minutes southeast of Breckenridge.
