Vail, Colorado in Eagle County, is an extraordinary place you can get to with mountain shuttle. With a population of over 5,000 residents, the town itself was built at the base of the ski resort. Vail resort’s first season was in the winter of 1962. Vail is the third largest mountain in North America. The crazy thing about Vail’s town is that it wasn’t even established until four years after the mountain had already opened. Making this town strictly a skier and snowboarders paradise. If you haven’t visited Vail yet, you should and a great time to come would be in January! Here are 10 reasons to visit the epic town of Vail in January! 

Two of the snowiest months in Vail, are January and February. Come get some powder at the beautiful Vail resort. Perfect for all levels of riders.

Family fun fest. This is a great activity to do with your family. Every Saturday watch the village come alive, with music, food, and well needed fun. Carnival style games, prizes, music and much much more!

What about skiing, then dinner, then the ballet!? Not many people can say they had a day like that! The Aspen Ballet will be at the Village Center. You can go see the Ballet on January 25th.

Interested in backcountry skiing and snowboarding? Well it might be awesome for you to take an avalanche awareness course in Vail! January 26th you can take this class and its 100% free. Along with learning about awareness treat your self to food, prizes and raffles!

Shopping is extraordinary i  n Vail. If you get a chance to visit make sure you budget accordingly so you can shop till you drop!
