Common Questions
How far in advance should we book?
Philmont season runs June–August and fills up fast. We recommend booking as soon as your troop’s travel dates are confirmed — at minimum 6–8 weeks out for summer departures, earlier if possible.
Can you accommodate multiple vans for a large troop?
Yes. We regularly coordinate multi-vehicle trips for larger troops. Request a group quote with your total headcount and we’ll put together the right fleet configuration.
Do you pick up from Colorado Springs (COS) airport?
Yes — both Denver International Airport (DEN) and Colorado Springs Airport (COS) are available as pickup points for Philmont transportation.
How much gear space is there?
Our 14-passenger Sprinter vans have a dedicated cargo area designed for group travel. Full scout packs, food containers, and equipment all fit comfortably. If you have an unusually large gear load, mention it in your quote request so we can plan accordingly.
What’s the scout leader discount?
As a preferred Scouts of America transportation partner, we offer promotional pricing for scout leaders. Details are included in your quote — just mention you’re traveling to Philmont when you request it.
Can we add the Pre-Trek Adventure to our existing transportation booking?
Yes. Pre-Trek activities (rafting, ziplining, Via Ferrata) can be added on top of your transportation. We coordinate timing and logistics so the adventure flows directly into your drive to Philmont. Include your desired activity when requesting your quote.
