BACK IN BRECK
Dew Tour is a massive action sports event and makes only one stop in the United States this winter. Where is that stop you may ask? Look no further than Breckenridge, Colorado. Breck is one of the most famous ski resorts in the country and is host to Dew Tour, a four day, non-stop, adrenaline pumping competition featuring some of the world’s greatest winter sports athletes. World class skiers and snowboarders from all over the world will gather in Breckenridge for this event on December 13th through the 16th. Whether its Slopestyle, Superpipe, one of the unique team events, or one of the other various competitions that Dew Tour boasts, these athletes have been waiting all year to earn their Dew Tour accolades.
Red Gerard, Chloe Kim, and many others from all over the world are among the elite Dew Tour shredders heading to Breck this December. And before we go on, we should probably let you know the best part of this event… the entire Dew Tour competition and festival, is free to all spectators!
STREETSYLE
In addition to men and women’s Slopestyle and Superpipe events, Dew Tour offers other favorite features that both fans and athletes alike have come to anticipate every year. An example of how Dew Tour stands out from some of the other major winter sports competitions, is the Streetstyle event. This will take place on December 14th and is hands-down one of the best days to be in Breckenridge this winter. Streetsyle leaves the resort and takes over the center of town, in the heart of Breckenridge. Main Street traffic is shut down for this event as the road is transformed into an immersive course compiled of creative ramps, rails, and features that athletes display their urban shredding skills on.
From Thursday through Sunday, the Breckenridge Peak 8 base area is immersed in the Dew Tour experience. An array of activities, athlete autograph signings, free giveaways, and more from Mountain Dew and Dew Tour’s partners are available for all to enjoy. The Streetstyle event isn’t the only off-mountain draw either, there are aprѐs festivities, partner exhibits, and live music all taking place in downtown Breckenridge throughout the weekend.
DEW TOUR CONCERT
Looking to leave the half-pipe and warm up in town with some dancing? The seven-pieced funk band, The Motet, will be the headliner of the Dew Tour Concert! The concert is on December 15th at the Riverwalk Center in downtown Breckenridge and is a party you won’t want to miss. The band is great for all ages and the show begins at 7:00 PM. General admission for the show is on sale now and are $40.00 per person, VIP tickets for $100.00.
