Celebrate the 12th annual Beaver Creek Wine and Spirits Festival this August with a combination of Beaver Creek’s finest wines and most exquisite cuisine. Featuring four days packed with activities taking full advantage of Beaver Creek’s pristine scenery and environment, there is something for everybody here.

Day 1 | August 9th

Begin the weekend with the Whiskey Wranglers Beaver Creek Rodeo with some classic Colorado drinking and a world class rodeo show. Bring your boots and come ready for some barbecue and whiskey!

Day 2 | August 10th

The following morning, recover from that altitude enhanced hangover and get a good start to the day with some outdoor yoga, primed with mountain vistas. This class will be held by Revolution Power Yoga from 8:00 – 9:00 AM and is held at the top of the Buckaroo Gondola. For lunch you may join the guided hike and picnic up to the Saddle Ridge for a relaxing afternoon of hors d’oeuvres in the heart of the mountains. On this hike you will see one of America’s largest collections of western artifacts and antiques, such as photographs, bronzes, and artwork. This year includes the all new Après in the Village, Rosé Soirée and Prosecco Café. These activities also include snacks, appropriately paired with the style of each taste to please your refined tastes. These are complimentary activities, free with your purchase of a ticket to the festival.

Another great event to check out is the mozzarella making extravaganza, where some of the worlds top mozzarella makers will teach you the basics of crafting mozzarella cheese crafting over fine wines and libations. Follow this up with the Chardonnay uncorked seminar, where you may learn the ins and outs of oaked and unoaked chardonnays (as you drink them!). Experts will teach you how climate and tradition affect flavor and quality throughout the world for the worlds best wine grape.

Finish the night off with the Mirabelle Farm to Table Dinner, a four-course meal made with all locally grown within 150 miles of Beaver Creek. Paired with elegant wines, this elegant dinner is the epitome of what Beaver Creek is all about: elegance, class, and fine dining. Later that night, give back to the community with the silent auction and enjoy some friendly competition. All proceeds go to charity, a nonprofit group called The Bright Future Foundation.

For those looking to spend a late night on the town, the Tapas and Tequilas celebration that same night is the activity for you. Snack on freshly made tapas while sipping on handcrafted tequila cocktails late into the night, enjoying dance and conversation. This event will feature a live mariachi band for the full, authentic Mexican experience.

Day 3 | August 11th

Day 3 looks quite similar to day 2, with plenty of yoga, food, hiking, and adventure in the Vail Valley.  Theres a Rosé Soirée in the afternoon that will be a great refreshment between trekking along the trail for lunch and the Grand Tasting on the Chophouse Lawn later that night.

Day 4 | August 12th

That Sunday features an off-road cheese port and cheese adventure. You may feast your eyes on some of Colorado’s most scenic vantages while feasting your bellies upon Colorado’s finest cheeses and libations. Off roading is a classic Colorado activity, and there is nothing like wine and cheese to make an otherwise crude activity into an elegant, Beaver Creek worthy one.

Beaver Creek is beautiful this time of year, and when paired with a fantastic event full of delicious cuisine and delectable wine you can’t go wrong heading this way.  Need a ride?  Peak 1 Express offers plenty of transportation options from the Denver Airport to Beaver Creek.
