It’s less than a month away and we are beyond ready for this event. Keystone will be hosting their 22nd Annual Beer & Bluegrass Festival on August 4th and 5th. The event will feature incredible craft beer and even better bluegrass music.
Thirsty? Attend this event.
Over 40 breweries and over 100 types of beer will be served at the festival from vendors such as 4 Noses Brewing Company, Boulder Beer Company, Breckenridge Brewery and Bristol Brewing Company. Best of all, the event is FREE for all ages, but those over 21 have the option to purchase a glass for beer tasting at the event. Not only will you be able to see what beers you love most, but the event will also be doing a social media event that will track voting for the best brew. At the end of the event the winner will be crowned and receive recognition for the title “Best Brew.”
Hungry? Attend this event.
Some of the best vendors in the area will be selling food at the Bluegrass and Beer Festival. Be prepared to either 1) have a difficult time deciding which vendor to grab some grub from or 2) be so full from indulging in all the food offerings that you might have to take a mid-afternoon nap.
And some incredible live music.
Can’t forget about the other half of this can’t-miss event. Keystone brings the awesome Appalachian environment of great bluegrass music and awesome food into the middle of the Rockies to put together an awesome mix for all to enjoy. With the home-style food, delicious brews, and beautiful bluegrass, you might as well be in the western hills of North Carolina!

For Friday night, music will be played by Shaky Hand String Band, so make sure not to miss that part of this awesome event. The Warren Stage for Performing arts will open its doors at 7:30 for all the Colorado-themed food, beer, and music festivities to begin. You can feast your way through six small plate stations where you can snack, drink, and be jamming out to all of your most favorite bluegrass-style tunes.
Overall, the 22nd Annual Bluegrass and Beer Festival is an event that you will not want to miss. It will give you time to unwind, relax, and maybe even tap into your wild side while enjoying the awesome music provided. Mark your calendars for August 4th through 6th and make your way to Keystone for a weekend of fun. Our suggestion? Ditch the car so you won’t have to stress about parking.
