Where to Eat in Breckenridge

Home > Breckenridge > Where to Eat in Breckenridge

As the ski season in Breckenridge is readily approaching, we are all starting to get prepared.  Skis and boards are getting waxed up, and all of our warm winter coats, gloves, goggles, and ski pants are coming out of storage.  There’s not enough snow yet to do anything other than stare longingly at the possessions we are getting antsy to use.  What to do while we wait for the snow to fall?  Grub!  We’ve compiled a list of our go-to’s for a quick bite or a relaxing and delicious meal.

Breakfast

Clint’s Bakery – A must for those coffee lovers out there! Clint’s has great coffee as well as some one of a kind breakfast sandwiches on an assortment of bagels.

Daylight Donuts – Daylight has a wide selection of fresh baked doughnuts daily and fantastic breakfast plates such as biscuits and gravy.  Be sure to try their famous sausage rolls and get there early or be prepared to wait, as it is a small place with limited seating.

Lunch

Duggan’s Deli – Duggan’s is a must for a quick but incredibly delicious sandwich.  This local spot has been around for a handful of years and have some of the best deli sandwiches available in Summit county.  Their french dip is to die for, and the hot pastrami sandwich on rye is a popular grab as well.

Giampietro’s – Dubbed on of the best pizza spots in the high rockies, their homemade pies are the big draw here but there’s also family style pasta and calzones made to order.  Just a few blocks from the gondola, this is the perfect place to grab a slice après-ski.

Dinner

The Canteen Tap House and Tavern – A wide selection of beverages is a the draw here, as well as their fun canteen twist on your average cocktail.  The burgers here are fantastic, and don’t sleep on the mac and cheese – some of the best in town!

The Motherloaded Tavern – This popular stop on Main Street has menu items just like mom used to make.  Meatloaf is a big favorite and the fish tacos are not something to miss out on.  Motherloaded hosts a trivia night every Tuesday and local bands also play here regularly – be sure check out the schedule before you go!

Northside Pizza – Northside is the go to for the classic pizza and wings combo in Breckenridge.  Creative and delicious pies make most of the menu but their calzones and wings have built their rep up even more.  With a wide selection of beer on tap, how could one complain?

Angel’s Hollow – Angels Hollow is a tiny little place, so small in fact they don’t even have website!  Don’t let this dissuade you, the food is delicious and the margaritas are a masterpiece.  It is mostly Mexican food with a few other menu items to please a crowd.

Of course you really can’t go wrong with where you eat in Breckenridge.  With some of the best skiing in the country and the mountain town feel, great restaurants are a must.
