Daredevils and adrenaline junkies rejoice, the mountain still offers blazing speeds through tight turns and trees during the summer months as well. Get that heart pumping on 2,500 feet of alpine roller coaster as you fly down the mountain; go on your own or with a friend on the same car behind you. Control your own speed on this epic ride and own the mountain!

Mini Miner Gem Panning

Join the gold rush and chase your fortune on Peak 8! Pan for precious gems and relive the old west in this throwback activity that will take you back to the good old days. A great activity fit for all ages, especially the young ones, and a wonderful way to spark their interest in the history of the old west. Did you know that Breckenridge was originally founded as a mining town back in 1859 during the gold rush? Gold in this area was originally discovered by panning the blue river that runs right through town. You never know, you may just strike it rich like the original founders of the town!
