The weather is cooling off, and the first snow is certain to happen soon. The beginning of fall in Colorado means it is time to start thinking about winter and the upcoming ski season. A ski pass is a big investment and shouldn’t be taken lightly, which is why we are here to break down your options to help in your decision making process.

Considering a mountain road trip this winter? The M.A.X. Pass is the one for you! This pass provides its holders with 5 days at 22 mountains across North America for a total of 110 days from west to east. The mountains include Big Sky, Blue Mountain, Boreal Mountain, Boyne Highland, Boyne Mountain, Brighton, Copper Mountain, Crystal Mountain, Cypress Mountain, Killington, Loon Mountain, Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort, Mont Tremblant, Mt. Bachelor, Pico Mountain, Snowshoe, Steamboat, Stratton, Sugarloaf, Sunday River, The Summit at Snoqualmie and Winter Park. There are no blackout dates at any of the resorts with the M.A.X. Pass.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN SUPER PASS Colorado-Keystone-skiing

The Rocky Mountain Super Pass gives you unlimited access to both Winter Park and Copper Mountain. In addition to unrestricted access at two Colorado resorts, Super Pass holders also have 7-days to Mt. Ruapehu in New Zealand with NO blackout dates. Other benefits include 20 friends & family tickets (10 for each mountain) for $69-79/day, discounts on tubing hills, ski and snowboard rentals, gear tuning, retail & dining and more at participating locations.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN SUPER PASS PLUS

The Rocky Mountain Super Pass Plus builds off of the Super Pass, adding access to 3 Colorado resorts, 1 resort in Alaska, 1 in New Zealand and 3 in Japan. Take advantage of alternating seasons with the perfect pass for those year-round snow lovers. The Plus adds the Eldora Alpine Pass to the list of unlimited resorts in Colorado, with Steamboat and Crested Butte access for 6 and 3 days per season, respectively, with no blackout dates. Head to Alaska for 3 days at the Alyeska Resort in the beautiful Chugach Mountains. When the snow starts slowing down in the US, head to New Zealand for 7 days at both Mt. Ruapehu and Cardrona Alpine Resort and Japan for 7 days at Tomamu, Alts Bandai and Nekoma.

With the Keystone A-Basin Pass, enjoy access with limited restrictions to both Keystone and Arapahoe Basin. Restrictions include 11/27/15-11/28/15, 12/26/15-12/31/15, 1/16/16, 2/13/16-2/14/16. SUMMIT VALUE PASS

The Summit Value Pass is perfect for those folks who have prefer Summit County skiing. Passholders get unlimited access to Keystone and Arapahoe Basin, with limited restrictions at Breckenridge. The limited restrictions are the same as those for the Keystone A-Basin Pass. Additional benefits include 6 ski-with-a-friend tickets, half-off pass holder tickets during Breckenridge blackout dates and unlimited half-price tickets to Park City, Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood.

EPIC LOCAL PASS

Know how to handle a pass with restrictions? Then the Epic Local Pass is for you, providing unlimited access to Breckenridge, Keystone, Afton Alps, Mt. Brighton and Arapahoe Basin, 10 restricted days at Vail and Beaver Creek, and limited restrictions at Park City, Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood. Restriction dates are the same as the Summit Value and Keystone A-Basin Pass restrictions. In addition to mountain access, passholders receive 6 ski-with-a-friend tickets and half-off tickets during blackout dates at Park City, Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood.
