Celebrating New Year’s Eve in Summit County
Ring in the New Year Colorado-style! If you’ve planned a Colorado vacation and aren’t sure how to spend New Year’s Eve, don’t worry – there are plenty of great events and tons of fireworks displays.
New Year’s Eve in Breckenridge:
Live coverage of Times Square will run all evening on a giant TV in Blue River Plaza. The band Yamn will perform an all-ages concert at the Riverwalk Center. Fireworks over the ski slopes of Breckenridge Ski Resort will begin at 9 pm.
New Year’s Eve in Keystone:
Keystone’s Head for the Hills concert will provide a unique musical experience at the Warren Station Center for the Arts. Families of all ages will enjoy LEGO Oasis throughout the day at River Run Village. Then round out the celebration with a Torchlight Parade on the mountain, a midnight ball drop, and two fireworks shows.
New Year’s Eve across Summit County:
Copper Mountain is hosting a New Year’s Eve En Fuego with a Rail Jam at Woodward and a fireworks display. Arapahoe Basin ski area has a dinner in their Moonlight Dinner Series at the mid-mountain Black Mountain Lodge, with a midnight champagne toast. If you’re looking for a way to spend your day before the festivities, you can always get in plenty of skiing or take advantage of various restaurant specials and holiday sales at the shops throughout Summit County.
