Beaver Creek, located in the Vail Valley, is always a favorite when talking to ski bums about their favorite resorts to ride. Though the area around Beaver Creek was settled in the 1860’s, the community didn’t open the ski resort until 115 years later. Today, the size of terrain has more than quadrupled, and there are 25 lifts servicing 150 different trails. Beaver Creek’s runs have a fantastic balance of skill levels, with a pretty even amount of beginner/intermediate and advanced trails. There are some hidden gems on this mountain though including some backcountry-style terrain that is even serviced by lifts.
Located in the center of the mountain town, the Beaver Creek Village is lined with luxury shopping, fine dining, art galleries and more. The walkways of the Village are heated, so you don’t have to worry about having to plow through the snow. You can easily make your way through the village thanks to the escalators. Town of Avon shuttles can deliver you to Avon and a complimentary village shuttle can transport you within Beaver Creek and Bachelor Gulch on demand.
The Bachelor Gulch neighborhood of Beaver Creek provides convenience to the mountain for skiing, hiking, biking and more. You can find incredible, luxurious, slopeside vacation homes nestled in the crooks and crannies of the Rocky Mountains. Enjoy the quiet serenity of Beaver Creek’s Bachelor Gulch. Beaver Creek’s free dial-a-ride shuttle can transport you to the Beaver Creek Village.
Situated on the western side of Beaver Creek, Arrowhead Village offers convenience to the slopes, as well as the recreational offerings of the town of Edwards. Find your perfect vacation accommodation in Arrowhead, with options ranging from condos to private homes. When it’s time to enjoy the Colorado weather, head outside and you’ll be right on the slopes for skiing or hiking, or head to Edwards for some world-class fly fishing. While staying in Arrowhead Village you can use the village shuttle which circulates within Arrowhead in the winter. The Village to Village shuttle will also transport you from Arrowhead to Beaver Creek and Bachelor Gulch.
The gateway to the notorious Beaver Creek Resort, the charming town of Avon is home to a wide variety of restaurants, hotels and amenities. Avon offers a free daily shuttle around town and up to the slopes with Avon Transit. You can easily shuttle to the mountain from various stops in town, such as the Avon Station, the Sheraton and Northside Kitchen, and stops in Beaver Creek Village.
