The Easter bunny is coming!

A lot of families have yearly traditions for Easter that come in all shapes and sizes.  The celebration of Easter derived from the Christian holiday remembering the day Christ rose from the grave. My family is Greek and our Easter tradition consists of slow cooking a lamb on a spit and having Easter egg hunts! What do you and your family do for Easter? If you are going to be spending Easter in the mountains there are tons of events for the family.

Easter is always a great excuse to get friends and family together. One of my favorite things to do on Easter is  giving an Easter Basket full of chocolate bunnies, jelly beans, and eggs! This awesome bunny holiday is even better in the mountains! Come celebrate on the mountain with some fun in the sun, cold drinks and snow.

Some of the events this Spring include a concert series going on every Saturday and Sundays at Breckenridge Ski Resort. Come see your favorite bands live and the best part is it is completely free!

Another awesome event is getting to see the Easter bunny for yourself at Arapahoe Basin! This Beach N Egg Hunt is a great way to spend your holiday. Skiers and non skiers join forces and hunt for prizes. This hunt includes over 5,000 eggs! Once again, the best part is that the event is completely free. All  you have to do is meet on the mountain at 10 am and start the hunt.

Another thing to keep in mind is the many activities you can partake in while you are in Breckenridge or Frisco. Shopping here  in the mountains is always a must when visiting. You can find all the rustic essentials for your home and keep that mountain style feel around even if you live in Florida. Don’t forget to celebrate Easter by having dinner at one of the many fabulous restaurants here in the mountains. Anything you want you name it, from mexican cuisine at Fiesta Jalisco to a tasty steak at Kenosha in Breckenridge. Pho in Frisco is another awesome restaurant that offers Vietnamese noodle soup.

Whatever you decide to do this Easter have fun and spend time with the people you love. The mountains are a sure way to make your vacation filled with good vibes, beautiful views and great people. Let us at Peak 1 Express know about your Easter adventures when you are riding our Breckenridge Airport Shuttle!
