Colorado is home to some world renowned cycling. People travel from all over the world to ride bikes in this beautiful state and professional athletes train here. If you are traveling to Colorado to do some cycling, check out the Bicycle Tour of Colorado.

This amazing tour crosses the continental divide four times, goes over 7 different scenic Colorado mountain passes, and through 6 amazing mountain towns! Don’t forget your camera, because this is one for the books!
Your journey will begin in the beautiful town of Breckenridge. From there you will travel around the Ten

Mile Range, over Fremont Pass, and into Leadville on the first 60 mile leg of this amazing journey! Get ready for some climbing on the second day over the infamous Independence Pass! The views cannot be beat on this 88 mile stretch from Leadville to Carbondale. Cool things down a little bit the following day with less mileage and climbing on the ride from Carbondale to Hotchkiss. From Hotchkiss it is a pretty steep 54 mile ride to Crested Butte, but once you get there you can take the next day to recover before continuing this monster ride.
The fifth day is a rest day spent in Crested Butte, before pushing on to the final two days of the ride. Get your legs ready in Crested Butte for the 96 Mile trek to Salida the following day. Gear up in Salida for the final 78 mile push back to Breckenridge. You can sleep that final night with a grin on your face knowing that you just completed a ride that many out there can only dream of!
If you’re thinking of coming to Colorado to do some biking, make sure you keep this beast of a ride in mind and call Peak 1 Express if you need a lift up from the airport, we’ll even transport your bike for free! If you can’t make it this year, not to worry. This here is an annual event, so mark your calendar for 2016, because another amazing ride is in the works!
