Our newest addition to our line of Luxury shuttle vehicles is Larry the Sprinter! Larry is so named because we here at Peak 1 Express wanted to memorialize our former driver Larry Hayden who passed away last year. Larry Hayden was one of the most dedicated drivers we’ve had here at Peak 1 Express. Every single day Larry would walk into the office not only armed with a smile that could make all of your troubles melt away, but also with an attitude that was always pleasant and more than welcome.
Larry the Sprinter arrived to our office and met the rest of our Shuttle family on February 7, 2014. He is a brand spankin’ new 2014 Mercedes Sprinter! For Larry the Sprinter, his first couple of weeks here at Peak 1 Express were anything but a walk in the park. First off, Larry the Sprinter was quarantined off for about a week due to his shoes needing to be upgraded so that he could safely navigate our wintery roads here in Breckenridge, Colorado and also to get some brand new tattoos. He came out looking dressed to impress and ready to roll!
Within his first week of transporting happy passengers to and from Summit County, an entire tire and wheel came off of a truck, bounced off of a car on I-70 and nearly knocked Larry the Sprinter out for the count! Fortunately for Larry the Sprinter and all of our guests on board, one of our safest drivers, Gail, was behind the wheel and averted this potential disaster. Great job Gail! Unfortunately, for Larry the Sprinter, he’ll be at the doctor for a while until he gets his cheek all patched up. Check out some photos of Larry below.
