Are you planning your spring ski trip? Do you ever second guess yourself about taking your young kids on a ski trip because you’re afraid they will not enjoy themselves? Well Beaver Creek Ski Resort has a solution for you.
The combination of great weather and fun activities make the foundation for Beaver Creek’s Springfest. The events take place from March 14-April 11. These four weeks will be filled with many spring-themed activities that are fun for all ages especially the kids. Kids will be able to enter in contests, hangout and take pictures with spring characters, join parades, and much more! Many other Springfest activities involve community, school and collegiate themed activities as well.
Sundays will feature a magic show followed by a kid’s parade and figure skating event. Mondays you can experience The Amazing Sven’s One Man Circus followed by skate night at the ice rink. On Tuesday nights, Beaver Creek’s Adventure Ridge will be hosting teen tubing followed by teen twilight snowshoe and a pizza party on Wednesday nights. Thursdays will host teen ski and ride trick class at the Anti-Gravity Center along with another kid’s parade taking place later at night. Friday’s will feature different events varying by week.
Also, don’t forget about the holidays, as there will be two different holidays taking place through this four week span. St. Patrick’s Day will be celebrated with Irish dancers and music bringing the main plaza stage to life. If you haven’t had enough St. Patrick’s day festivities, there will be more music at the St. Patrick’s Day Night Skate where you can enjoy some upbeat Irish music accompanied with classic, rock, soul and disco. Be sure to look for the disco skaters who will be busting a move out on the rink. For Easter festivities, the largest Easter Egg hunt between the Vail Valley and Summit County will be taking place. The 23rd annual Easter Egg Hunt featuring over 3,000 eggs will be held on April 4th in Creekside Park.
