Eagle County is huge! With so many destinations to explore, Vail, Avon,  Beaver Creek and Eagle, it is hard to know where to start. Having all these options might make it a tough when deciding what to do! Fortunately for you, we have listed the 5 places we like so far in Eagle County.

Vail and Beaver Creek Mountain Resorts

With over 53% of expert terrain at Vail Mountain, there is no denying you will progress as a rider at this resort. Vail has so much terrain to play around in. In fact, it’s hard to miss all those powder stashes and lets not forget about all the back bowls Vail has to offer as well. If you are trying to hideaway, Beaver Creek might be more of what you looking for in your ski vacation. Beaver Creek is a more private resort hidden from view, a wonderful family mountain. Beaver Creek even hands out free hot chocolate and cookies! The coco and cookies make winding down from a day on the slopes that IMG_1879.ALPENROSE.table_-970x500much better.

Garfinkel’s

Garfinkel’s, or Garfs as it is known locally, is one of our favorite apres spots in Vail. Complete with a sun filled porch and excellent views of the mountains this is the place to be whether you’re taking a break from the slopes during the day or wrapping up your day there.

Whether you are in the mood for some apres, or a relaxing day at the spa, Eagle County has the activity for you! While we don’t know Vail as well as Breckenridge, we are sure these spots are going to please! The Peak 1 Express team is excited that there is much to be explored!
