Coming to Breckenridge in July? You have chosen the right time to visit as the events around town are sure to keep you occupied for your whole vacation! Between concerts, art events, athletic competitions, outdoor activities, and even a rodeo, Breckenridge in July is sure to keep everyone in the family occupied.

For the artistic types, the Breckenridge annual art festival is taking place through July 7th and features 100 artists practicing in all different types of artistic mediums. The 2013 July Art Festival provides the perfect venue for talented artisans to display and sell their artwork to thousands of enthusiasts. Patrons also have the unique opportunity to meet the actual artists and learn about various styles and techniques.

Classical music fans will be very impressed with the National Repertory Orchestra performing wonderful concerts all throughout the month of July. This professional orchestra plays beautiful music three times a week at the Riverwalk Center and starts at 7:30pm. Enjoy professional classical music with gorgeous mountain views all around you!

For all our cowboy and rodeo fans the PRCA Pro Rodeo will be taking place right in Breckenridge every weekend for the whole month! The Rodeo will take place every Friday and Saturday in a specially constructed area on Airport Road in Breckenridge. Professional events featured in the competition include Bareback riding, Bull Riding, Team Roping, Steer Wrestling, tie-down roping, barrel racing, and clown acts. There will also be some kids’ events that are open to the public such as Mutton Busting and Calf Scrambles. The Breckenridge Rodeo is a fun and exciting family event that will take place every weekend this month.
