Ever wonder what it’s like skiing the final weekend before a ski resort closes for the spring? Well, come find out! Tomorrow is the last day to ski Breckenridge this season, and it’s looking like the perfect day to ski!
There will be countless activities taking place in the mountains including concerts and end of the season parties. Starting this Saturday (today!), 3OH!3 will be performing at the base of Peak 8 in Breckenridge. Tomorrow, for Breckenridge’s final day, Matisyahu will be performing live at the base of Peak 8 accompanied by their Closing Day Party from 1pm-6pm.
If concerts aren’t your thing, and you’re ready to test your endurance, the Imperial Challenge is taking today which is a race from town to the top of Peak 8 requiring participants to bike, hike, and ski. It’s the triathlon of the mountains.
On top of all the fun events, the forecast says we’re due for a LOT of snow tonight, so the final day on the hill could end up being a powder day! What better way to end the season than with fresh, deep snow?
