For those coming to Summit County for their spring break ski trip, get ready for great conditions as the mountains around Summit have received plenty of snow in the last month.

If your heading to historic Breckenridge this March, conditions are the best they have been all year with the resort being 100% open with 155 trails and 30 lifts to keep even the most advanced skiers and riders busy all day. Head over to the Horseshoe and Imperial Bowls for an incredible alpine skiing experience. If ungroomed tree runs are more your style, head over to the south side of Peak 10 for intense trees and chutes for the most advanced riders.

Breckenridge Ski ResortBreckenridge reported 9″ of new snow yesterday!

Copper Mountain has been receiving tons of snow all throughout the month of February. Copper Mountain ski resort is operating at 97% with 138 trails and 22 lifts. The Copper bowl has been recently opened and the runs in this area are some of the best in the county. Take the Super Bee lift for smooth fast groomed trails then step it up to the Resolution bowl for powder filled turns and world class tree skiing.

Keystone Ski Resort is also operating at 96% opened runs with 19 lifts including 2 gondolas and three mountain peaks of varying difficulty. Ride the front side of Keystone for long winding trails as well as the famous A-51 Terrain Park. Keystone’s terrain park is a freestyler’s heaven with endless, jumps, rails, and jibs. A-51 terrain parks boasts features for all skill levels and is famous for having unique features not found anywhere else as well as a professional park crew to keep the area in perfect condition season long. For those looking to get out into the woods, there is no better place to find long sprawling tree runs than on the Outback Peak at Keystone. Here you will find tons of untouched powder and secluded unmarked and ungroomed glade runs for the true adventurer.

Airport shuttle to Colorado Ski ResortsLooking to beat the crowds and have a great day out on the snow? Come ski or ride at The Legend at Arapahoe Basin. A-Basin currently has 71 trails and 8 lifts running. With lots of recent snowfall, Arapahoe Basin has been skiing well with lots of terrain to choose from including the Montezuma Bowl on the back side of the ski area. The Montezuma bowl offers excellent opportunities for hiking to extreme terrain as well as lift serviced backcountry terrain. If you’re looking for a taste of backcountry skiing or riding, head over to the Montezuma Bowl for a true extreme skiing experience.
