Terrain Status at Summit County Resorts

Powder Report Summit CountyAre you ready for a ski trip at some of the greatest resorts in the country? Summit County has something to offer for every skier and rider with hundreds of acres of terrain at all skill levels. Don’t let the recent snow reports throw you off – Summit County’s ski areas have worked hard to create a great base this year, and the slopes are groomed to perfection. With lots of snow in the forecast both over the weekend and throughout next week, you can look forward to many epic powder days to come! Here is the terrain status for Summit County.

Breckenridge Ski Resort:

Breckenridge currently has 29 lifts running and 117 runs for a total of 1908 acres of skiable terrain. With runs of all difficulty across all four peaks, Breckenridge is loaded with expertly groomed terrain to keep skiers and riders of all levels happy. With multiple terrain parks of all sizes on peak 8 and 9, Breckenridge is sure to have all the extreme features a rider could want.  Check out Breck’s grooming report here.

Keystone Resort:

Keystone Ski Resort currently boasts 19 lifts and 95 trails to ski and ride on. With over 2021 acres of skiable terrain, Keystone’s three different peaks offer tons of beginner, intermediate, and expert terrain. Keystone Resort is also home to the famed A-51 terrain park. This world class ski and snowboard park is a pro rider mecca and some of the best riders in Colorado can be found tearing it up here. Keystone is also the only mountain in Summit County that offers night skiing. With slopes lit up till 8:30pm, this is a great time to beat the crowds and get some evening turns in before dinner! Copper Mountain Resort:

Copper Mountain Resort currently has 91 trails open and 18 lifts. With over 947 acres of terrain, Copper’s trails are in excellent shape. Copper has seen a bit higher snowfall than the rest of the county so expect lots of snowy white trails to spend your day on. Copper’s Woodward terrain park is currently fully operational and features world class free riding features and a highly professional park crew to keep everything perfect. Arapahoe Basin Ski Area:

Arapahoe Basin’s ski season is going strong with 31 open trails and 7 lifts.  With 20 acres of skiable terrain, A-basin is a great mountain retreat to beat the crowds at the bigger resorts.
