With Spring Break approaching for all of you College Students and those of you with children in primary, middle or high school, now is the time to start getting in gear and making plans for your week of adventure and images (2)excitement! Copper Mountain is one of the foremost destinations in Colorado, not to mention Breckenridge, for Spring Break. Here are 5 tips for planning spring break at Copper Mountain.

Lodging

In order to ensure your group or family a spring break without having to camp out in your car…Book your lodging NOW! Copper Mountain is currently offering 3 different lodging specials that can save you beaucoup bucks on your vacation!  Specific limitations do apply, so review their website for details.

Lessons & Lift Tickets

If you book online early enough, you will be entitled to monstrous savings on your lessons and/or lift tickets. For example, if you were to purchase lift tickets for 3-7 days of snowboarding or skiing, you would save up to 45% off of the ticket window price. That could total up to nearly $400 in savings for one person!

For your lessons, if you book a private, you are entitled to $50 lift tickets for adults and $25 lift tickets for kids. There may be additional deals available, so give Copper Mountain Ski & Ride School a call and see what offers they have for you! One other note…if you have children 5 or younger, they get FREE lift tickets at the window! I’ve heard of no better deal than this, and it’s only at Copper Mountain!

Other Activitiesimages (1)

In addition to all of the snowboarding and skiing you will be doing, Copper also offers other activities and events, such as Tubing, Ziplining and Sunsation, just to name a few. Although, their zipline isn’t as comprehensive as the zipline trips we offer out of our Idaho Springs and Granite outposts, it is open and ready to fulfill your zipline adventure (AVA zipline tours open March 7, in Idaho Springs). For tubing, Copper offers a 20% discount for purchasing a day of tubing fun in advance and online.

Transportation

To get you from the airport to Copper Mountain, Peak 1 Express is the most affordable shuttle service available. For the low rate of $64 dollars, we can get you directly to your lodging in Copper Mountain. If your group consists of 3 or more passengers, you will automatically receive our group rate of $52 per person; $12 in savings per passenger! Check Availability here!
