During the months of March and April, you can expect to see the sun shining, great snow conditions for skiing and snowboarding and endless amounts of outdoor concerts, parties and mountain sports to partake in! If you do not already have plans for Easter, then head on out to Breckenridge, Colorado! Whether or not you celebrate Easter, Breckenridge has something to offer everyone. Here are some activities your friends and family can get into while coming to Breckenridge over Easter!

Sunrise On-Mountain Easter Service: If you are an early riser and are interested in attending the On-Mountain Service, then hop on the Quicksilver SuperChair to Tenmile Station at 6am. It is going to be one of the most spectacular settings for an Easter service. You will not need a lift ticket or any ski equipment, just some warm clothes for the chairlift ride! There will be breakfast available to purchase before the service as well!

On Mountain Easter Egg Hunt: That’s right! There will be an unforgettable Easter Egg Hunt that takes place right on Peak 8 and 9! This is a great way to spend Easter with your children! There will also be a protected area that will be open and monitored for the children to hunt for eggs. Make sure not to miss out on this amazing morning before hitting the slopes!

It is great vacation destination for the whole family! If you have never been skiing or riding before, no need to worry! There are highly trained professionals that work for the mountain. So, take a look at group or private lessons! Could you imagine a better way to spend your Easter? I know I can’t, soaking in the sun while making turns in the slushy snow sounds pretty perfect!

Alpine Coaster: If you are searching for a non-skiing activity for the whole family to experience then you will want to check out the Gold Runner Alpine Coaster! It is a great way to get a different sort of mountain thrill! The ride consists of going through snowy trees and alongside ski runs while dropping down 2,500 feet of elevated coaster tracks above the base of Peak 8. You can choose to ride by yourself or hop on in with a friend! You are able to control your speed with hand brakes the entire time while making all of the twisty turns! Make sure to stop by the Activity Center to check out the photo Epic Mix snapped on your way down!
