Whether you are new to the sport of mountain biking or can rip up the singletrack, there are endless amounts tracks all throughout Colorful Colorado. Here are some locations in Colorado that you should definitely check out!

Granite, Colorado: If you happen to be camping in Granite or staying close to Buena Vista, there are tons of biking trails. One singletrack located in Buena Vista is the Sheep Gulch and Little Willis Gulch Trail. It is an advanced, 10-mile singletrack that is great to explore if you are comfortable with technical terrain. If you are looking for something a little more intermediate, then the Midland Hills Trail is a lot of fun! It is about a 6-mile singletrack that is great for people who are new to the sport but are looking to challenge themselves. Some other singletracks in the area are Arkansas Hills, Arnold Gulch Area, Bassam Park Lariat/ Trail #1435 and even the Buena Vista Pumptrack. summit mountain bikingIdaho Springs, Colorado: If you are staying in Idaho Springs or even just passing through, make sure to spend some time in the area before traveling on. There are tons of activities to do from mountain biking to ziplining and even rafting right in town. There area also great biking trails just outside of town. 3 Sisters/ Alderfer is an intermediate singletrack that is about 7 miles long, located right in Evergreen. Another great trail is the Barbour Fork Loop, located right in Idaho Springs. It is an intermediate track that is about 8 miles long with some fun terrain!

Kremmling, Colorado: Arapahoe Ridge is going to be one of the best advanced singletracks located in Kremmling. It is about 10 miles in a very remote area with a few stream crossings, but mostly a sweet, smooth singletrack. The views are incredible and the trail includes a fun ridgeline that you climb. If you are an experienced mountain biker and are looking to earn your turns, then come check out Arapahoe Ridge!

bikepathBreckenridge, Colorado: Summit County is a very popular area for visitors. If you happen to be coming to the area and are looking for some adverse mountain biking trails or even road bike paths, make sure to check out the Summit Rec Path, Around Lake Dillon, Breckenridge to Copper, Breckenridge to Keystone, Copper Triangle and even Vail Pass. Stop in some of the local bike shops that offer Vail Pass shuttles that will take you to the top and you can enjoy a 24-mile downhill bike ride.
