Colorado-Keystone-family-snowshoeAs Colorado’s 2015-2016 winter season comes to a close, some of the world’s best ski resorts plan to show everyone a good time to end a fantastic year of snow sports and competitions.  Bring your friends and family for parties you won’t want to miss or forget!

Keystone: April 10th, 2016 – Come celebrate an amazing winter this year at the Slush Cup which is a Keystone closing weekend tradition.  Win prizes and make or break your ego as you fly through the pond skim to a roaring crowd.  Live music as well as prize giveaways for the crowd will be in attendance.  If you have any little ones be sure to have them compete in the Kidtopia Slush Cup to make some family memories!

Vail: April 10th, 2016 – Vail celebrates stellar skiing conditions and warmer temperatures with a jam packed weekend of The Chris Robinson Brotherhood and the Vail Film Festival Virtual Reality Tent.  The Triple R Rewards grace the Vail scene with discounts on restaurants, relaxation and retail (get it?).  A Luau with tikis and music as well as a bags tournament hosted by Bud Light is sure to get everyone in the mood for celebration.  The last day of the season at Vail is marked with an International Pond Skimming Competition to give all those brave souls on skis and snowboards their chance to shine!

Copper Mountain: April 24th, 2016 – One of the few ski resorts in the area that has an extended weekend, Copper Mountain will have some powder days for those who aren’t done making turns in snow.  Thank the snow gods and check out festivities the weekend before for the Eenie Weenie Bikini Contest with live music performances and the traditional pond skimming for closing weekend.

Breckenridge:  April 24th, 2016 – Closing weekend kicks off with the 2016 Imperial Challenge; a pseudo triathlon complete with biking or running, an ascent of skinning Breckenridge Ski Resort and finding powder stashes while you ski or snowboard down to the bottom of the mountain.  The closing day Cowboy BBQ will be hosted at the Ski Hill Grill on Peak 8 for a fun-filled bash to end an epic winter season.
