Fall in the Rockies brings many wonderful events, such as Aspen leaf watching, Breckenridge Bucks hockey, football season in full swing and of course….Halloween. This unique holiday is a favorite of all ages as the parties range from 5 to 95 years old. No one is too old to have a spooky “Howl”-oween, so below you’ll see a list of our favorite things to do on and around the 31st of October!
Rocky Mountain Pumpkin Ranch in Longmont, CO
Don’t miss the fast, furious and funtastic weekends in October celebrating the harvest, autumn and the pumpkin. On Saturdays and Sundays from 9am-6pm they offer lots of fun for everyone including pony rides, airplane rides, pumpkin painting, petting zoo, hay maze, corn tunnel, inflatable bouncy castle, balloon typhoon, air filled pumpkin, food vendors and pick your own pumpkin. During the week, Monday – Friday from 9am-5pm, this fast paced festival also offers self-guided tours and fun activities for the little ones. Don’t forget the general market full of fall produce!
Royal Gorge Bridge & Park – BOO at the Bridge

This daring, yet unique experience will host trick or treating, hay rides, carnival games, bands, and much more entertainment! The gondolas will be open and the mini-train will turned into a ghost train For the daredevils, night flights on the Royal Rush Skycoaster and Royal Gorge Cloudscraper, the highest zipline in North America, will be open! Breckenridge does Halloween!
On Halloween, Breckenridge’s most famous ghosts from the gold rush and beyond emerge to tell their stories at the historical Milne house, while cemetery tours and haunted tours throughout town will send shivers down your spine — and not because it’s cold outside! Plus, don’t forget the kiddies as Main St. Breckenridge offers its traditional trick-or-treat streets, for more frightful fun.
