White water rafting season begins May 1st!

It’s paddling time in the Rockies! Get ready for many opportunities to enjoy the snow melt and rapid white water as rafting on some of Colorado’s amazing rivers begins. Check out the wild and scenic Arkansas river, the legendary Colorado river, or scintillating Clear Creek in Idaho Springs.

77th Annual Music & Blossom Festival, May 1-3

Join the Blossom Festival for parades, band and orchestra competitions, the crowning of Ms. Blossom Festival 2015, more food than you can imagine, and even a local rodeo. Lots to do in the mountain hideaway, so don’t miss out!

May concert Series at Arapahoe Basin

Join Arapahoe Basin for the May Concert Series every Saturday in May, featuring free music in the base area from one to four PM. Family friendly and fun for everyone, the May Concert Series has something for everyone!

 

14th Annual Festival of the Brewpubs, Arapahoe Basin Ski Resort, May 24

Join us at A-Basin for the largest party of the year! Spend the afternoon sampling beer from our Colorado brewpubs for one low price per mug (must be 21). Breweries include Avery Brewing Co., Twisted Pine, Wynkoop and Summit County favorites Dillon Dam and Pug Ryan’s. Enjoy live music, springtime skiing, tons of food, and unforgettable memories.

Yampa River Festival, May 29-30th in Steamboat Springs

This event promises a fun-filled weekend for the whole family, with slalom and downriver races, fun for kids, freestyle competition, 5K Fun Run, the SUP Cup, crazy river dog contest and more. In its 35th year, the Yampa River Festival raises awareness for and protects the 270-mile Yampa River in Northwest Colorado, the last remaining major free flowing river in the seven-state Colorado River basin.
